Currently Dr. Petrou is a postdoctoral research scholar at the City College of New York, City University of New York. He works for the Media Lab, at the Department of Electrical Engineering, directed by Prof. Yingli Tian. His research interests focus on remote sensing, machine learning, computer vision. His currect activities involve motion tracking and prediction of Arctic sea ice through multispectral satellite imagery.
